PCPCares Presents Psychedelia
Psychedelia is an hour-long documentary film about psychedelic drugs and their ability to induce mystical, or religious experiences.
Use of nontraditional therapies has been around for hundreds of years, and medicine is slowly catching up to review these modalities. Clinical trials are in place examining their effectiveness treating PTSD, depression, pain management as well as numerous other medical symptoms.
The documentary film “Psychedelia” provides an overview on the use of psychedelics. We hope that by screening this important documentary, we can start a community dialogue on the use of psychedelics. Invitation to attend is extended to healthcare providers, naturopathic providers, community healers, indigenous healers and knowledge keepers. PCPCares' hope is that this film will give our community of healers an opportunity to make connections in a mutual space. After the film please join us for questions and open conversation about integrating this alternative treatment modality to practice. Light refreshments will be available.
